What happens
Damage or unapproved length, diameter or elevation disrupts refrigerant flow and system performance.
Typical symptoms
Weak capacity, unusual line temperatures or a zone that performs poorly after rerouting.
Checks that distinguish this cause
Inspect accessible piping and compare each run and total system layout with the model limits. Localize a possible restriction using the approved temperature/pressure method under a known operating state.
What can look similar
An EEV problem or insufficient refrigerant can also starve a zone.
Repair direction
Correct the verified damage or piping design using the approved refrigerant-service process.
Verify the repair
Verify compliant piping and stable performance for every affected zone.
Equipment-specific limits
Use actual refrigerant, pipe sizes, equivalent lengths, elevation and charging instructions. Do not apply a conventional fixed-speed subcooling target to an arbitrary inverter speed. This piping guide does not apply to a factory-sealed monoblock.
